A state-of-the-art periodontal practice is seeking a dynamic, motivated, detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable Periodontal/Dental Surgical Assistant to join our growing team! X-ray certification is preferred. The ability to take clear digital radiographs and surgical assisting experience is preferred. Offer competitive compensation. This is a full-time position four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). We are connected to our core values of Integrity, Quality, Service, and Compassion. Our goal is to provide exceptional implant and periodontal services in a comfortable and caring environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

· Facilitate providers with all patient visits and procedures.

· Room set up for providers.

· Review pre and post-surgical instruction, consent forms, medications, what to expect for surgical procedures, etc.

· Sterilization, preparation, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, and supplies.

· Take impressions for surgical guide fabrication.

· Take X-Rays & CBCT scans as directed.

· Administrative duties including, answering incoming phone calls, scanning & shredding of documents, scheduling appointments, medical supply inventory, and ordering.

We offer competitive compensation along with a flexible four-day work schedule (Tuesday-Friday, hours 7:00 am – 5:00 pm). We are connected to our core values of Integrity, Quality, Service, and Compassion. Our goal is to provide exceptional implant and periodontal services in a comfortable and caring environment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer phones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Check patients in/out
  • Collect/post payments
  • Make appointment reminder calls
  • Insurance benefit verification
  • Scan, fax, and shred documents
  • Review post-op surgery instructions with patients
  • Manage social media platforms
  • Other administrative duties as needed
